Ivory Safari Lodge is located on a private concession of 6,000 acres on the border of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. The entire camp overlooks an ancient riverbed, in today’s terms called a ‘vlei’. The waterhole in this vlei is known to attract a variety of the greatest wildlife and birdlife in Hwange National Park.

This camp offers personal attention to a maximum of 20 guests in 7 standard treehouses, of which one is a family unit, and 2 tented suites. The elevated en-suite rooms are positioned with sweeping views of the waterhole that is floodlit by night. The central dining area, bar and library are set around the deep blue pool - a welcome haven from the scorching midday heat. Bush cuisine offers campfire barbeques under a massive blanket of stars.

Ivory Lodge also has a hide next to a waterhole where a heightened wildlife experience is within a stone’s throw away. Activities on offer are walking and game drives in both the concession and Game Park. Night drives in the concession can also be arranged on request.

Matobo Hills Lodge is situated within a private wildlife reserve bordering Matobo National Park (50km from Bulawayo). The lodge's accommodation units are built upon a granite outcrop with sweeping panoramic views over the surrounding hills.

There is a separate lounge/bar which commands spectacular 360-degree views of Mount Ififi and the Maleme Valley. A swimming pool has been built into the granite dome to resemble a natural rock pool. Meal times can be dependent on game drives and will vary seasonally. All meals are Table d'hôte with a wide selection of dishes and enjoyed in a thatched dining room or open air gazebo depending on the weather.

Matobo Hills Lodge has a total of 34 beds in 17 luxury hilltop lodges; 13 twin bedded and 4 double bedded. All have shower, bath toilet and basin and wall-to-wall carpets. Extra beds can be arranged on request.

The Lodge has a fleet of open safari vehicles and a staff of trained guides. Walks and drives to areas of scenic and historical interest include visits to the famous rock paintings, the historical battle sites and to the grave of Cecil John Rhodes at World's View. Local guides are on hand to take visitors into the nearby tribal area where Ndebele and Kalanga people continue to live a traditional life style. Game drives are conducted into the Matobo Hills National Park in search of black and white rhino, giraffe, zebra, sable antelope, leopard and a host of other species. The Matobo area is famed for the density and variety of bird species and for its bewildering population of brightly coloured lizards. Times of activities vary seasonally but guests are personally advised each day of departure times and options available, all at additional cost.

The Lodge at the Ancient City is a unique hotel built around a granite outcrop in the same style as Great Zimbabwe, providing stunning views across the valley of Msasa towards the ancient city of Great Zimbabwe. The Lodge integrates seamlessly with the surrounding trees and boulders of the site with dry stonewalling and soaring thatch structures. Great Zimbabwe was a medieval African city known for its large circular wall and tower. It was part of a wealthy African trading empire that controlled much of the East African coast from the 11th to the 15th centuries C.E.

The impressive stone and thatch lounge is set high upon a granite outcrop with huge boulders forming the main part of the overall architecture. The Lodge at the Ancient City can provide historical guides to take guests on detailed trips through the ancient capital of Zimbabwe. The beginnings, architecture, trading routes, social, religious practices and the reasons for the decline of the region are all discussed. Also available, drive and walks around the nearby lake Mutirikwi, recreational park and into adjacent tribal areas are also available.
